They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.  Matthew 14:20

            The word used here means full, their hunger satisfied.  It has a deeper meaning, that you get when you had enough to eat, but feel content, happy.  It is a satisfaction both physically and emotionally.  The miracle is incredible not only because 5,000 got something to eat, but that they got plenty to eat, feeding body and soul.
