But where can wisdom be found?
Where
does understanding dwell?
No mortal comprehends its worth;
it cannot be found in the land of the living. Job 26:12-13

God understands the way to it
and he alone knows where it dwells,
for he views the ends of the earth
and sees everything under the heavens. Job 26:23-24
And he said to the human race,
“The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom,
and to shun evil is understanding.” Job 26:28

Job lost everything in his life—his family,
his business, his workers. Devastated, he
sought wisdom on what to do next. He realized
he could not find wisdom on earth. Job
needed to look heavenward.
The world says things like “Look
within yourself.” That’s idiotic. You only have limited perspective on a
situation. How can you know what to do
if you’re trying to figure what to do?
The Bible gives us a few clues on
where to find wisdom.
We can look to creation and find wisdom
in the animal kingdom.
We find wisdom in the Bible. The book of Proverbs was written to reveal
wisdom to us.
We find wisdom when we pray and hear
from God.
We find wisdom in godly individuals
who seek God’s wisdom on a regular basis.
Wisdom
can be found, you just have to know where to look and where not to look.
