Can I complain to God?

"Even today my complaint is bitter;
    his hand is heavy in spite of my groaning.
If only I knew where to find him;

if only I could go to his dwelling!
I would state my case before him

and fill my mouth with arguments.
I would find out what he would answer me,

and consider what he would say to me.
Would he vigorously oppose me?

No, he would not press charges against me. Job 23:2-6
            You can go to God with any need at any time.  You can gripe and complain, but make sure you also praise and thank.
            If you only to God to complain, what does that say about you?  Well, maybe you’re a complainer which isn’t healthy.  But it could also mean you feel you have a right and some authority over God, seeing Him as your servant.
            God has the heart of a servant, but you’re not His boss.
            In a retail store, the motto is that the customer is always right.  Is the customer always right?  No.  Are you always right as you stand before God and complain?  No.
            But God knows we have feelings and need times to vent our emotions.  That’s fine.  He’s there, like a friend, to hear us out.  But while you talk to Him, listen to Him also for advice and guidance.  He will have answers to your complaints so you can find contentment and peace.
