Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8

God did not create curse words. Man has turned certain words into obscene meanings. A word is just a number of letters assembled together to create a sound. Man applies the meaning to the sound.

Certain words are cultural. A curse word in England is not one in America.

Certain words change throughout time. Some words said twenty years ago would have landed you in the principal’s office, but today we hear them on TV and from our youth leaders. Some words had no obscene meaning twenty years, but today they do, because of TV, songs, etc.

Man created curse words to express anger and sexuality, but God did not create them. He’s more concerned with our heart attitude and sometimes that is expressed through words you choose and the meaning behind them.
