“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”  Matthew 6:20-21

            Jesus redirected our desire for material wealth and turned it towards spiritual wealth.  He told us not to seek things that will collect dust, wear down and fall part, but seek things that will live forever in heaven.  That could only mean one thing—people.  If we pour our efforts into people and their relationship with God, we will reap astounding benefits forever.
