How does God use foolishness to shame the wise?

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;

the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” 1 Corinthians 1:18-19
            “Foolishness” to the world is believing in a fairy tale like God, a creator who made the earth and sent his son to it.  Stories like Noah’s ark, Daniel in the lion den, David and Goliath are myths to them.  The miracles of the Bible like the walls of Jericho, multiplying bread and fish, and men rising from the grave are just stories with no real proof.
            For them, God is no more real than Zeus, Hercules and Medusa.
            Creation, for scientists, is easily explained by evolution, however evidence these days is shaming those scientists who refuse to accept the truth.  Truth always shames the fools who won’t examine and refuse to believe.
