Now for the
matters you wrote about: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations
with a woman.” But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man
should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own
husband. 1 Corinthians 7:1-2
God
created our bodies for sex, so yes, if they were designed for sexual pleasure
then it was God’s idea.
However,
in an age of sexual immorality, the Bible puts very strict parameters around
sexual relations. That may seem
restrictive, like God hates sex, but it’s permissive as long as it’s between a
married husband and wife ONLY.
God
wants us to have sex as long as we follow the rules. He understands all the emotional hurt that
improper sex can have, the diseases that can spread and the consequences of an
unwanted pregnancy.
