What is the Valley of Vision?

A prophecy against the Valley of Vision:
What troubles you now,
that you have all gone up on the roofs,
you town so full of commotion,
you city of tumult and revelry?
Your slain were not killed by the sword,
nor did they die in battle. Isaiah 22:1-2
Even though Jerusalem’s elevation is over 2,000 feet above sea level, it still sits in a valley of seven hills, including Olivet (where Jesus had his Olivet Discourse), Mount Scopus, Mount of Olives (where Jesus ascended) and others.  This high elevation city had quite a view (vision) but it sat in a valley with still greater views.  In addition God had a vision for Jerusalem that extended far beyond its own borders.
