And let
us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not
giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging
one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews
10:24-25
The main reasons we go to church is to be equipped by the
word of God from our pastors, to worship God, to serve others with good deeds
and to encourage one another.
Acts 2:42-47 gives all kinds of ways how we love God and
serve one another. We need that weekly
encouragement from God and others because life is hard. Soon, one day, Jesus will return. We look forward to that “Day” so in the
meantime we have work to do.
