What should I do at work if I my boss mistreats me?

Slaves, in reverent fear of God submit yourselves to your masters, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh. For it is commendable if someone bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because they are conscious of God. But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. 1 Peter 2:18-21
The Bible says to submit.  Now, there are different kinds of abuse, such as physical and sexual, which cannot be tolerated and must be reported immediately.
However, if you don’t feel valued or respected or you feel you are overlooked because of your personality, faith, gender or race, the Bible says…submit, to the good and bad bosses.  You can bear under the pain of unjust suffering because you serve a God who suffered for God.
Remember, Jesus was abused, cursed and beaten and yet he did not retaliate nor made any threats.  Trust yourself to God.  Follow in Jesus’ footsteps.
The Bible says you were called to this job to show the bad bosses a good God.  You are the example of grace, respect and honor they need in their lives.
