Are we judged for the sins of our parents?

“In those days people will no longer say,
‘The parents have eaten sour grapes,
and the children’s teeth are set on edge.’
Instead, everyone will die for their own sin; whoever eats sour grapes—their own teeth will be set on edge. Jeremiah 31:29-30
No, but the sins of our parents definitely have an effect on us.

We are not held responsible for the sins they did.  We are only held responsible if we repeat them.

We are sinners because of them, born of humanity’s seed which passed the inclination (human nature) to sin constantly.

We are held responsible if we make our children sin, forcing that choice on them, but not held responsible if they choose to sin on their own.
