Will we age in heaven?

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Revelation 21:3-5

No. Aging is a result of death. On earth, we are physically deteriorating and growing closer to the grave.

In heaven there is no death, or grave, or deterioration, so there is no aging.

We will be in a constant state of eternal health.

So what age will we be?

Some people believe our age in heaven will be between 27-29 years old, the time when scientists say our bodies reach a peak before they “go downhill” after reaching full physical maturity.

Others see 33 years old as the spiritual age of Jesus in heaven which we will all match.

Either way, we should all probably be the same age to keep a certain sense of equality among all the believers.  Why should a toddler toddle for eternity or a 95 year old be stuck in his old body when he always desired the days of his youth?

Those who died old will be younger.  Those who died younger will be mature.  We will all be at the perfect age.
