Does Christ forgive every sin?

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! John 1:29

Yes. When a lamb was sacrificed, it only offered temporary forgiveness of sin. The individual had to return and offer another sacrifice to cover the sins that were committed since the last sacrifice. The lamb was only a temporal being offering temporary forgiveness.

Since Jesus rose again from the dead, He proved He was not just a man, but God. His sacrifice had eternal ramifications – forgiveness for all sins committed by all people throughout eternity.

In order to be forgiven, one must receive forgiveness. I can’t be forgiven unless I admit that I did something wrong. Once I’ve done that, then I receive forgiveness – all charges against me will be dropped. Only those who admit their sin and ask for forgiveness can receive forgiveness.
