The book of Revelation, which offers the clearest view of heavenly activity, includes the following emotional reactions in heaven:

• Worship and shouting of praise
• Glory, honor, thanks
• Singing
• Blessing

Emotions are natural for us. From our emotions come love and joy. God will not take them away when we arrive in His presence. Why would He create us with emotions, then ask us to exist like Mr. Spock from Star Trek for eternity?

We must also remember that God showed emotions too—anger, jealousy, pleasure, satisfaction, sadness, disappointment. We have emotions because God is emotional.
