So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of Elul, in fifty-two days. Nehemiah 6:15

            It’s hard to understand the scope of the project, but we’re talking miles of wall completed by piecing together rubble by unskilled workers, not being paid, using ordinary tools, in threatening circumstances.  Did the miraculous happen?  God protected the people and gave them a spirit of endurance.  Certainly the spirit of the people showed their devotion to God.  Isn’t that a God thing?
