Does Jesus want to do something for me?

Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?”

“Lord, I want to see,” he replied. Luke 18:40-41

It’s hard to imagine that Jesus wants to do something for us.  The heart he showed a poor blind beggar on the side of the road is the same compassion he shows you today.  How would you answer that question—“What do you want me to do for you?”—if Jesus asked you right now?

The blind man’s need was obvious.  He cried out, unashamed, knowing Jesus was the only one who could help him.  Are you crying out to Jesus?  Do you know he’s the only one who could help you right now?
