And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was on him. Luke 2:40

And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. Luke 2:52

            Jesus was born with a human brain that takes time to develop and acquire a sense of self.  That usually sets in around the age of two.  Jesus limited himself to a human body, in space and time.  Jesus had to grow into an understanding of himself and his world.  Twice, Luke mentions that point in the above verses.  A number of factors accelerated his development and protected him along the way starting with the Holy Spirit, speaking loudly into his heart, soul and mind.   His perfect mind and perfect relationship with the Trinity added to his knowledge.  His godly nature was inside his human body, but it took time to become aware of itself.
