“At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.” Matthew 22:30

            Whether you’ve been married and divorced, once or multiple times, or remarried after the death of the spouse, the reunion in heaven won’t be awkward.  We will all understand that we’ve been forgiven of our sins, existing now with clean slates, and see everyone equally for who they are—children of God, saved by grace.

            Every relationship will be based on Jesus Christ, not each other.  Parents won’t tell their children what to do nor will bosses direct their former employees.  Jesus will be the head and we’ll all serve him.
