“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:22-24

            Another question to ask is, what is prayer?  Prayer is not telling God what you want.  It’s asking God what he wants.  So if God wants a mountain to go into the sea and you pray for that, it will happen.  If you pray God’s will, you will receive whatever you ask for—not according to your timetable or according to your desires—but God’s.
