He replied, “This kind can come out only by prayer.” Mark 9:29

            Jesus just healed a boy with a demon.  His followers wondered how they could see things like this happen in their lives.  Jesus’ answer…prayer.

            Prayer connects the relationship between you and God.  You know his voice and his will.  You sense his direction and purpose.   It’s not the amount of prayer that happens, but the quality of that prayer to seek and understand.  You can talk to someone for hours and the needle never moves.  You can talk to someone for five minutes and it changes their life.  Same goes for God.  Pray all the time, but make sure your time with God gives him your best.
