“See, I will create

    new heavens and a new earth.
The former things will not be remembered,
    nor will they come to mind… Isaiah 65:17

            No, not because God wipes your mind, but the beauty and excellence of this new place will so overwhelm us that we won’t see any reason to remember the past.  Our focus will be on the present (praise) and the future (hope).  Why wouldn’t we see a co-worker in heaven and remember her and rejoice over being together in heaven?  Why wouldn’t we meet a family member or the person who led us to the Lord and remember them?  But there won’t be any need to dwell on the past hurts.
