Isaiah
had said, “Prepare a poultice of figs and apply it to the boil, and he will
recover.” Isaiah 38:21
A
poultice is a mushy, creamy mass of material.
In this case, it was applied to alleviate soreness and
inflammation. God told Hezekiah to make
a compound of figs and apply it to his boil.
There actually is some research and talks about the health benefits of
figs. But, remember, God can use
anything to heal anyone.
