Damascus is
the capitol of Syria, a nation bordering on the northeast of Israel. It was called the City of Jasmine but today, after
recent wars, its beauty and population have decreased. Damascus is mentioned over 50 times in the
Bible, both Old and New Testament, as early as Genesis. Paul visited there many times in the book of
Acts.
