Greet all
God’s people with a holy kiss. 1 Thessalonians 5:26
A holy kiss is an
intimate greeting shared by those close in their hearts. It has no sexual intentions behind it. Usually it would be on the cheek, like some
European nations do, but possibly on the lips, though many nations like the
United States would find that inappropriate.
A holy kiss is
not recommended with strangers during the church service and greet your neighbor
time. It would only be appropriate for
those who are very close or if their culture allowed it.
