According to the Book of Mormon, are the writings of the apostle John the only correct ones?

And I looked and beheld a man, and he was dressed in a white robe.
And the angel said unto me: Behold one of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Behold, he shall see and write the remainder of these things; yea, and also many things which have been.
And he shall also write concerning the end of the world.
Wherefore, the things which he shall write are just and true; and behold they are written in the book which thou beheld proceeding out of the mouth of the Jew...
And I, Nephi, heard and bear record, that the name of the apostle of the Lamb was John, according to the word of the angel.
1 Nephi 14:19-23, 27

Nephi in his vision saw that only John's writings would be true.  Does this mean we can't trust Matthew, Mark and Luke?  How about the writings of Paul?

If that's true, then the book of John contains many verses that Mormons will not like:

There's only one God and He alone made everything/there are no other Gods

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made."

Jesus was as much God as the Father is God/not a spiritual offspring

John 10:30 "The Father and I are one."

We are saved by belief alone in Jesus Christ, not by works

John 3:36 "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."

John 5:24 "I assure you, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life."

John 6:47 "I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life."

John 11:25-26 "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If John is the only apostle to trust, Nephi picked a good one, but are the Mormons going to listen to what John has to say and follow him?
