Did Jesus not cry as a baby?

Thanks to the song "Away in the Manger" we think "no crying he made."

Babies cry.  They have to.  They have to cry to clear their lungs and breathe at birth.

They cry to alert the parents to their needs.  Dirty diapers.  Empty stomach.  Fear.

As a baby, Jesus experienced all of those things.

We like to think Jesus was not colicky and had a sweet disposition.  Maybe.  Hopefully.  He was  probably the most perfect who ever lived.  We'll ask Mary when we see her.
