First of all, we must understand why we were put here. We were put here to establish a relationship with God, then once we do that, to communicate that relationship to others. Along the way, we must worship God in all we do.
When Adam and Eve were created, they were given tasks to do. Jobs. Work. God never told them to lounge around and do nothing. When they sinned, God said that work would become a burden.
To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat of it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.” Genesis 3:17-19
School is the sweat of the brow, hard work for those in middle and high school, college and graduate studies. It’s not easy, but it’s necessary. School is the best way to find your way to a life and career you will enjoy. God can use school to show you his plan for your life.
And along the way, worship God for all He has provided for you. Including your school.
