What color is God?

There are so many colors out there. Any variation of color is a mixture of colors. Black is a mixture of every color (try it some time with your paint set). Any variation of white (off white, near white, beige) is the corruption of white with another color.

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5

God is pure and the purest color is white. The light of God will illuminate the universe for eternity.

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. Revelation 21:23

Jesus also says in John that God is spirit. So what is the color of light and spirit? Apparently God is a bright white, the purest of all whites, with no hint of any other color.

In a racial sense, this doesn’t mean that God is Caucasian, since the skin tone “white” is really not pure white, but a pale tan. Remember, God loves every “color” – red and yellow, black and white.
