Ouija boards or "talking boards" have been around a long time and they have always been associated with communication to the spiritual world. The directions say that you ask a question then hold on to the pointer and allow it to show you the answer. Obviously, the game suggests that you invite outside spiritual forces to guide your answers.

God does not like that.  He never liked people who practiced sorcery.

He sacrificed his sons in the fire in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, practiced sorcery, divination and witchcraft, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the LORD, provoking him to anger. 2 Chronicles 33:6

When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? Isaiah 8:19

God makes it very clear that you can come to Him with any question and at any time. Since He knows our future and desires the best for us, we can count on Him for guidance. Spirits don’t have our best interests in mine, so why should we go to them?

If we play with a Ouija board, we are saying that spirits and a common board game have more power than God.
