When Jesus decides that our time is over, the earth as we know it officially ends. No one will miss it.

“At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. All the nations on earth will be sad. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky. He will come with power and great glory. He will send his angels with a loud trumpet call. They will gather his chosen people from all four directions. They will bring them from one end of the heavens to the other. Matthew 24:30-31

While the terms expressed in Matthew 24 are not to be taken literally since they refer to Old Testament images of judgment (clouds) and announcement (trumpet), the idea expresses a sudden, worldwide, devastating event. We will know Jesus has come to offer a new beginning because we’ll be transported straight to judgment.

Some religions tried to predict His return and since there was no grand event, they said “Jesus returned invisibly.” Now, what good will that do? What can Jesus do on earth invisibly that He couldn’t do in heaven? And where is he hiding? Isn’t he invisibile already?  It's an excuse to make their End Times Theology by saying we can't see Jesus.

Jesus wants to be seen.
