I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13

Can Jesus do everything? Is there anything that is impossible for Jesus? If we say Jesus can help us to do everything, that must mean He can do anything.

When Jesus was a kid, did He play with toys and have fun with His friends? Absolutely. Jesus didn’t sit off in the corner and ponder scripture, rejecting His friends who wanted to play tag. Today, if Jesus lived, He would probably skateboard and do a Switch Frontside Nose Grind 180 Out and amaze His friends.

Our savior lived a “normal” childhood, laughing, growing, learning, enjoying family and friends. If skateboarding was around in first century Nazareth, he probably would have participated.

When they had rowed three or three and a half miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were terrified. John 6:19

Also, if Jesus walked on water, certainly He can handle a skateboard or a surfboard. His ability to ascend into heaven would come in handy when He was about to wipe out and needed to avoid a fall.

So does Jesus currently skate. . .I believe he will do whatever it takes to reach a person. There is nothing sinful about skating, so why couldn’t he?
