Christians have been characterized as boring. Why are they considered boring?

You have made known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Psalms 16:11

The world believes Christians are boring because it believes sin is fun.

Let’s face it: Sin is fun. It wouldn’t be so desirable if it didn’t have an element of excitement and intrigue to it. However, the results of sin aren’t fun. Drinking all night can be fun, but waking up with a hangover isn’t. Neither is crashing your car or getting a DUI. Sex can be fun, until guilt sets in or someone gets pregnant, hurt or dies.

Christians, avoiding these sinful situations, actually are having more fun because they are not burdened by guilt, disappointment and shame. Christians should be out enjoying life and showing the world just how fun their relationship with God is.

The Christian life is not boring when you are on the frontlines spreading the Gospel. Never a dull moment. We just need to look at the trials the apostle Paul went through in 2 Corinthians 11:23-27 to understand the Christian life is not ho-hum.
